Lycksele Parish is located in the heart of Southern Lapland. The EFS Association is responsible for the parish's activities at Norrängskyrkan. The work team includes, besides the priest, a musician, an EFS consultant, a parish assistant, and a parish pedagogue. In addition to employed staff, there are also voluntary workers in all of the church's activities. The commitment from volunteers plays a central role, and the church strives to be an open church for people in the local area.

Norrängskyrkan places great emphasis on children and young people, among others through the highly appreciated children's and youth choirs: Soul Kids, Soul Children, and Soul Teens. Every week, approximately 90 singing-loving children and young people gather!

Regular services are held in the church, and there are appreciated meeting places in the form of "Liten och stor" (small and large gatherings), coffee breaks for those with free days, and conversation evenings about faith and life.

We are looking for you who

• are ordained as a priest for a position within the Church of Sweden or the EFS,
• have good knowledge of the EFS,
• look forward to helping shape services and various meeting places,
• possess strong social skills and a desire to reach new people in all stages of life.

To thrive in this role, you need to be comfortable leading both employed staff and voluntary workers, and have the ability to encourage and inspire. The work includes conducting services and church ceremonies, working with children and young people, facilitating conversation groups, and participating in EFS board meetings and the cooperation committee.

In Lycksele Parish, we are close to nature, and here you will find several sports clubs, schools, and a wide range of outdoor activities. There are good hunting and fishing areas. Norrängskyrkan is located in the residential area of Norräng in Lycksele; close to the forest, the river, the disc golf course, the gym, the golf course, the shop, the school, and the preschool.
